Artist Ron E.A. Powell’s parents gave him his four-letter initials as a reminder “to reap what you sow.” As farmers in Jamaica, his family was deeply in touch with the cycles of life.  Powell’s Art explores the interconnectedness of spirituality and the eqnvironment, as well as the diverse experiences that have shaped his journey. He strives to provide representation for underrepresented communities, creating textured and vibrant works that not only stand alone but also contribute to larger series exploring different facets of the human experience.

Powell is also a Hand Engraving craftsman at Tiffany & Co. Through discipline and expertise, he was selected to be an ambassador of Hand Engraving events across the country and abroad. Ron has studied Fine Arts and Illustration at New Jersey City University, The Arts students League of NY, and served on the board for Studio Montclair art association. He has shown his artistry and craftsmanship in various galleries and events across the USA, Canada, Europe, Dubai and China, amassing awards and publications from numerous institutions.
